NEW RELEASE
Rooted Redwood
September is the month when almost every platform announces its "built-in AI", but at Rooted Redwood we'd rather tell you what's underneath before putting up the sign. We shipped Griddo's first MCP connector, so your AI assistant can query our documentation in real time, and we kicked off one of the most important technical decisions in the platform's history: migrating the database engine from relational to hybrid, with native vector support. An engine change, not just a version bump, and the infrastructure almost any AI capability applied to content is built on.
NEW
Griddo's first MCP connector.
Your AI assistant, connected to Griddo's documentation in real time.
We've published Griddo's first MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector. It lets assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or Cursor query Griddo's documentation in real time, in Spanish and English, updated with every release. To install it, add the URL https://ax.mcp.griddo.io/mcp in your assistant's connector settings. Full instructions at docs.griddo.io/mcp/.
Works with your assistant
Works with Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and Cursor, no extra configuration.
Spanish and English
Documentation is served in the user's language, updated with every release.
More connectors on the way
We're already working on the next connectors, for activity logs and multi-instance authorization.
INFRASTRUCTURE
The piece that changes everything.
We're migrating the database engine from relational to hybrid, with native vectors.
Griddo's new database natively supports semantic vectors: it lets us index the meaning of every piece of content you publish, not just the words. It's the infrastructure almost any AI capability applied to content is built on —semantic search, automatic summaries, conversational assistants over your own content—, something impossible with a relational database. The migration is underway, with both engines running in parallel to guarantee continuity, and it's included in your licence at no extra cost.
From relational to hybrid
A new database with native semantic vector support, not just relational.
The base for content AI
Indexes the meaning of every piece of content: semantic search, summaries and conversational assistants.
Zero-downtime migration
Both engines run in parallel during the migration. Everything keeps working as usual, at no extra cost.
