**Setup fee:** €7,500 one-time — **waived when Griddo Cloud is
contracted.** Since Griddo Cloud is enabled by default in the calculator, the
default quote carries no setup fee.

## Additional Sites

Additional site pricing is **banded by volume**, and the band applies to the
whole quantity — it is not marginal:

Because the band applies to the whole quantity, crossing a threshold can lower
the total: 25 additional sites cost €3,750/mo, while 26 cost €2,600/mo.

**Each plan caps how many sites it can hold.** Beyond that cap the plan is
promoted to the next tier, and the additional-site count is recalculated against
the new tier's included sites:

**Griddo Cloud is enabled by default** in the license calculator, so a quote that
omits it understates the monthly total. On Institute that is a difference of
€1,000/mo: the €1,500/mo base becomes €2,500/mo.

## Worked Example

University plan, 12 additional sites, Griddo Cloud (managed AWS) + AI Booster, billed every two years:

- Base: €5,000/mo
- Additional sites: 12 × €150 = €1,800/mo
- Add-ons: €3,300/mo
- Subtotal: €10,100/mo
- Biennial discount (10%): **€9,090/mo**

No setup fee on this quote, because it includes Griddo Cloud. Without it, the
same configuration would add the one-time €7,500.
